The Global Educational Research Review (GERR) is committed to supporting the principles of open access and the global dissemination of research. Below is our comprehensive repository policy:

2. Versions Permitted for Deposit

Authors are permitted to deposit the following versions of their work in repositories:

  • Preprint: The version submitted before peer review.
  • Postprint: The peer-reviewed version, before formatting by the journal.
  • Final Published Version: The formatted version published by GERR.

3. Repository Options

Authors may deposit their work in:

  • Institutional repositories.
  • Public repositories such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, or Zenodo.
  • National or subject-specific repositories (e.g., Garuda, ArXiv)
  • Personal or departmental websites.

4. Attribution Requirements

When depositing their work, authors must include:

  • The title of the work.
  • Names of all authors.
  • A statement identifying GERR as the original publisher.
  • A DOI or link to the published article on the GERR website.
  • A link to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

5. Encouragement for Early Sharing

  • Authors are encouraged to share preprints online before and during submission to GERR. Early sharing enhances visibility and citation potential.

6. Non-Exclusive Distribution Agreements

Authors may enter into separate contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of their work (e.g., inclusion in a book), provided they acknowledge initial publication in GERR.

7. Embargo Policy

  • GERR imposes no embargo period on any version of the work. All versions may be shared immediately upon submission or publication.

8. Legal and Technical Notes

  • Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users are free to:
    • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Attribution must include the author’s name, the original publication date, the journal title, and a link to the license.
  • Modifications to the work must be clearly indicated.
