Global Educational Research Review (GERR) informs all authors and users that new user self-registration in the journal’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) has been temporarily suspended.
During the past three months, the GERR OJS platform has received several thousand automated and spam user registrations, many of which used invalid or non-existent email addresses. This activity generated a large volume of undeliverable emails and caused serious technical problems affecting both the OJS platform and our hosting environment.
This temporary measure has therefore been implemented to protect the security, stability, and integrity of the journal’s editorial system.
Temporary Manuscript Submission Procedure
Authors who do not yet have a GERR OJS account may submit their manuscripts by email to:
The email should include:
• Full name of the corresponding author
• Institutional affiliation and country
• Active institutional or personal email address
• Manuscript title
• Manuscript file and any required supporting documents
After verifying the author’s identity and submission information, the Journal Manager will create a user account and provide further instructions for continuing the submission and editorial process through OJS.
Authors who already have an active GERR account may continue to log in and use the system normally.
New user self-registration will be reopened after the necessary security measures and system maintenance have been completed. Any further updates will be announced on the journal website.
