EduAI Nexus: Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education may accept clearly identified advertisements relevant to its scholarly readership. Advertising is a potential supplementary source of publisher support; this policy does not imply that the journal currently receives advertising income. Any advertising arrangement must preserve the journal’s editorial independence.
1. Advertisements Considered
Relevant advertisements may concern academic conferences, educational resources and technologies, scholarly publications, training, or legitimate research and funding opportunities. Advertisers must provide accurate information and be able to substantiate their claims.
Misleading academic services, authorship sales, citation trading, manuscript fabrication, and promises of guaranteed acceptance or indexing are not accepted. The publisher may reject or remove an advertisement that conflicts with the journal’s ethical standards.
2. Responsibility and Conflicts of Interest
The publisher manages commercial enquiries and decides whether to accept advertising. The Editor-in-Chief may advise on scholarly relevance or ethical concerns. Advertising decisions and financial arrangements are kept separate from manuscript assessment, reviewer selection, and publication decisions. Anyone with a relevant competing interest must disclose it and step aside from the affected decision.
Advertising purchases, sponsorship, and other commercial relationships confer no preferential treatment for authors. Editors and reviewers assess manuscripts on scholarly grounds regardless of the advertiser’s identity or relationship with the publisher.
3. Placement and Labelling
Advertisements must be displayed in designated areas and labelled “Advertisement” or an equally clear term. Paid announcements and sponsored material must be distinguishable from peer-reviewed articles and editorial notices. Publisher promotions should identify the publisher as their source. The presence of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement of its claims by EduAI Nexus.
Placement is selected for the journal’s general readership and is not tied to an article’s conclusions, acceptance, or citation performance. Under this policy, EduAI Nexus does not offer behavioural advertising based on individual readers’ browsing profiles or confidential author or reviewer data. Advertising must not obstruct access, imitate submission or download controls, or interfere with reading.
4. Transparency and Enquiries
Any material sponsorship or advertising support relevant to journal content will be identified where appropriate. Advertising revenue, if received, is described as a supplementary revenue category in the Revenue Sources policy.
Commercial advertising enquiries should be directed to the publisher at idmyresearch@gmail.com. Concerns about an advertisement on EduAI Nexus may be sent to editor.eduainexus@gmail.com.
