EduAI Nexus: Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education operates a gold open access publishing model. Readers can access published articles without a subscription or a fee. Financial administration is separate from editorial assessment, and the ability to pay must not determine whether a manuscript is accepted.
1. Article Processing Charges
- Regular publication: USD50 per accepted article.
- Optional Accelerated Publication: USD150 per accepted article. This is the total APC for that track, not an additional USD150 on top of the regular APC. The track is described on the Accelerated Publication page.
The APC is payable only after formal acceptance. It supports editorial and peer-review administration, copyediting, production, online publication, metadata management, and dissemination. It does not purchase acceptance or guarantee a particular outcome. The same scholarly and ethical standards apply to both tracks.
EduAI Nexus does not impose separate submission, peer-review, page, or colour charges. Regular-track manuscripts have no withdrawal fee. The withdrawal charge for the optional accelerated track is stated in Section 4 below. No undisclosed journal charge may be added. Currency-conversion or transfer fees imposed by an author’s payment provider are separate from the journal’s APC and should be checked with that provider. Rates applicable at submission will be honoured unless the author subsequently requests a different publication track and agrees to its stated APC.
2. Waiver and Discount Requests
Authors who cannot meet the APC because of financial hardship or insufficient institutional or funder support may request a full or partial waiver. The corresponding author should apply on behalf of the author group before or at initial submission, using editor.eduainexus@gmail.com, and briefly explain the funding and resources available to the group. Eligibility is assessed for the manuscript and author group as a whole; a request from one author does not create an automatic entitlement.
The publisher considers requests individually, taking account of the explanation and available support. Any approval and amount must be confirmed in writing. Waivers are discretionary and are not guaranteed. Financial requests are handled separately from peer review and must not influence editorial decisions.
3. Publisher Support and Other Potential Revenue
Financial and operational support is provided by CV Multiartha Jatmika through MyResearch ID Publishing. The publisher may also receive relevant grants, sponsorship, or advertising income, subject to the Advertising Policy. These are potential supplementary sources, not claims that particular grants, sponsors, or advertising payments have already been received.
Actual sponsors or funding arrangements relevant to journal activities or specific content must be identified appropriately. Such support must not determine acceptance, reviewer selection, editorial conclusions, or citation requirements.
4. Payment and Withdrawal Enquiries
Authors should follow payment instructions issued after acceptance and verify them through the journal’s official contacts. Payment receipts and article-administration enquiries may be sent to eduainexus@myresearch.id. Publisher-level invoice or payment-error enquiries may be sent to idmyresearch@gmail.com.
Requests to withdraw an unpublished manuscript must be sent to the editorial office and confirmed through the editorial workflow. For a regular-track manuscript, withdrawal does not attract a fee. For an unpublished manuscript on the optional accelerated track, author-initiated withdrawal after accelerated processing has begun incurs a USD75 withdrawal charge. There is no withdrawal charge before accelerated processing begins or when the journal rejects the manuscript. USD75 is the total journal charge for that withdrawal, not an amount added to the full accelerated APC. Any APC already paid is credited against the withdrawal charge and any excess is refunded. An approved waiver or discount must be respected so that a withdrawal charge does not exceed the APC agreed for that manuscript. Published articles are handled under correction or retraction procedures; payment cannot secure removal of the scholarly record.
